Yeah, I had no experience with actual rivalry venom until I moved here. It was a huge surprise, especially because in Michigan, we care more about the MSU/UofM rivalry. I don’t ever remember my dad cussing out OSU the way he did MSU. Our bumper stickers say, “My two favorite teams are UofM and whoever is playing MSU.”

Although, when I told my brother we were moving here, he laughed and said, “Dad won’t even stop in Ohio for gas on his trips to West Virginia because he’s worried that a penny might go to OSU!”

That is so funny!! Being a person who enjoys solitary sports…golfing..equestrian disciplines…I have a hard time grasping the crazy that hits this city. I like your new paint color…it is pretty close to what I am painting my living room..that I only did one coat of a month ago, and painted around theChristmas tree so there is a whole part without any paint…
