Chesaning even did a student group for driver’s training…I was in it - my “partner” didn’t pass. I guess I wasn’t a very good teacher. It was during the school year and I had Mr. Hunter(? Wood shop teacher?) as my driver’s ed teacher and he was CREEPY….

I love Doughnuts too. I mean I really LOVE doughnuts. Ate them constantly when I was pregnant. Now I don’t have an excuse anymore.

Who acquires all those donuts because I noticed last time I was there before they were all eaten that they were not even from Frank’s? I would never survive a week there, either that or I’d have to run double!

And couldn’t grandma have been kinder and scheduled her departure for a book club week? Darn it.

P.S. I too love the round pastries, but we don’t have a good handy source. In the past I have often denied myself a donut, and then I think of all the other things I (we all) routinely eat which are just as “bad” as donuts. Why do donuts get such a bad name?

Some of the “healthy” bagels people consume have just as much fat and calories as a good old donut.

Well, this is just my own speculation, but I don’t think there is a chance of Chesaning stealing her back. It seems (again, my own reckless speculation) that Bryan tells his people that it is Abby who doesn’t want to leave Columbus and Abby tells her people it is Bryan. Effectively, they get to stay without telling their family that they want to stay… it is PERFECT!

Of course, I have been known to be completely full of sh*t before so…

I still say Chesaning is a GREAT place to be FROM… (Michigan in general seems to be circling the drain a bit…)
